About B&C Pavers

A Venice Paver Contractor That Only Does Hardscape

B&C Pavers is a locally owned paver and hardscape contractor based in Venice, Florida. Your driveway, patio, pool deck, walkway, or commercial surface gets installed, repaired, and maintained by a crew that works across Sarasota County and Manatee County.

Plenty of companies list pavers alongside mowing, mulch, and tree work. This is the only thing we do. You get preparation methods refined for this soil, a correct read on how materials behave here, and site problems solved by someone who has met them before.

Homeowners, property managers, and general contractors keep calling because what happens below the surface decides how the surface performs. B&C Pavers is an insured contractor operating from a Venice, Florida location.

Local Paver Experience Across Venice and Sarasota County

Working exclusively in Venice and the surrounding communities builds a practical read on local site conditions, building requirements, and neighborhood standards. Your HOA guidelines, your permitting, and the access problems that show up on older properties are already familiar territory.

Familiarity with local soil, water table depth, and seasonal drainage patterns means issues get anticipated before work begins. You see fewer surprises while the work is underway and a more predictable result at the end of it.

Older Venice properties with mature landscaping and newer developments with strict architectural guidelines both show up on the schedule regularly. Each brings different considerations, so your project gets an approach shaped around it rather than one method forced onto every job.

Commercial work adds coordination with property managers, accessible transitions, and keeping disruption to business operations low. Those projects get the same attention to detail and the same communication a homeowner gets.

Knowing the area also means knowing which materials hold up in coastal exposure and which design choices create maintenance headaches later. The guidance you get comes from watching real installations succeed and fail across this region.

Our approach

How We Prepare a Paver Site in Coastal Florida

Sandy soils, fluctuating groundwater, and heavy seasonal rainfall put real demands on paver installations here. Planning has to account for all three before anything gets built.

Your soil composition, existing drainage patterns, slope requirements, and proximity to structures all get assessed before the approach is set. In certain areas, such as Venice Island, deeper subgrade preparation may be required based on site conditions.

Why do pavers fail in Florida?

Most failures here come from inadequate preparation or poor drainage planning rather than any defect in the paver. Water has to move freely below the surface. When preparation gets skipped, pavers settle unevenly and lose structural integrity within months.

Every install here is built on the understanding that your surface gets judged after multiple rainy seasons and years of use, not on the afternoon the crew leaves.

What sets us apart

Why Venice Homeowners and Contractors Keep Calling Us Back

Much of the work here comes from referrals, repeat clients, and property owners who already learned what a bad install costs.

  • Hardscape specialists rather than generalists: you get preparation standards tuned for Florida conditions instead of borrowed from an adjacent trade.
  • Clear communication during planning: you know what the project involves, how long it takes, and which site conditions might change the scope.
  • Crews show up when scheduled: your start date holds, which is most of what a construction reputation is built on.
  • Builders bring us in as a hardscape partner: structural requirements, drainage coordination with other trades, and deadlines get handled without supervision.
  • Response after the check clears: your warranty issues get assessed and resolved, which is the part that separates contractors who stay from contractors who move on.
  • 2-year warranty on settling and structural issues: if a warranty repair is completed, the warranty period resets from that date.

Who you deal with

Meet Casey Cox, Founder of B&C Pavers

Casey Cox founded B&C Pavers and still runs the work from the Venice shop. He handles site evaluations himself, which is why estimates here come from someone who has actually stood on your property and looked at how water moves across it.

That shows up in what customers write afterward. One Sarasota County homeowner described Casey coming by the house and working through ideas for replacing an old paver patio, including the fire pit that ended up in the final design. Another mentions being worked into the schedule right away for pool deck repairs.

If you book a consultation, you are talking to the person accountable for the crew, the schedule, and the 2-year warranty. Not a call center, and not a salesperson who never sees the site.

Warranty

Our 2-Year Paver Warranty and Standards

Your installation carries a 2-year warranty covering settling and structural issues related to workmanship. If a warranty repair is completed, the warranty period resets from the date of that repair, so corrective work carries the same coverage as the original installation.

The warranty does not cover damage from outside factors such as vehicle impact, tree root intrusion, or alterations made by other contractors. It addresses issues that come from installation or workmanship.

Warranty claims get assessed promptly. If your problem falls under coverage, the repair gets scheduled and completed.

Success here is measured by how your installation performs five and ten years out, not by how fast it was finished. That perspective shapes every decision made on site, and more detail is on the FAQ page.

The owner KC came by our house and gave us great ideas to remove our old paver patio and replace it with a much nicer paver patio including a fire pit patio. His crew was always on time and very attention to detail. They always cleaned up and made sure the job was done right. We were extremely happy with the project from start to finish. I highly recommend B&C pavers for any paver project.
